Mary Gentile, PhD. will share Giving Voice to Values (GVV), a ground-breaking approach to preparing business managers and leaders for values-driven decision making. Developed by Gentile, a veteran of Harvard Business School and pioneer in both ethics and diversity management curriculum, GVV is now being piloted in over 150 educational and executive settings, and has been featured in The New York Times, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review, and McKinsey Quarterly.
Mary’s book from Yale Press – “Giving Voice to Values: How to Speak Your Mind When You Know What’s Right “– is the 2011 Axiom Book Awards Gold Medal Winner in the Business Ethics category.”
The highly interactive session will introduce the GVV approach and invite attendees to participate in one of its foundational exercises, “A Tale of Two Stories.”
